Best season to visit Narkanda
Every season has its own fun to visit Narkanda. But from April to June, your skis are clear and it is a perfect time for trekking and sightseeing. There is a different fun to visit here in this season. December to February becomes a show field destination. You will get to see snow-covered mountains all around. You can come here and enjoy skiing and snow landscapes. July to September (Monsoon) It is risky to visit here in Monsoon but you will find it green during monsoon season. Due to rainy season, the roads here become slippery and there is a fear of landslides.

By Road: Narkanda is only 65 km away from Shimla and the road trip is quite scenic. You can easily reach there by car or bus. HRTC buses and private taxis are regularly available from Shimla.
By Train: The nearest railway station is Shimla, which is on the Kalka–Shimla toy train route. From there you can take a taxi or bus for Narkanda.
By Air: The nearest airport is Jubbarhatti Airport (Shimla), which is approximately 90 km away from Narkanda. You can easily reach there by hiring a taxi from there.
